Alongside the Outstanding Personal Progress category, Outstanding Achievement is one of the most popular category’s in the National Awards. The stories behind the nominations in this category are often unique but are always an example to us all of what can be achieved with determination and enthusiasm.
This category is only open to nominations for individuals and given its popularity, we recommend that if you are submitting a nomination in this category you consider indicating a second category in which the nomination may be considered.
When submitting the nomination you may wish to consider the following -
The winner of this category will have demonstrated, above all others, genuine and measurable progress in terms of achievement. There will be clear examples provided of the nature and impact of this achievement upon both the individual and his/her performance in the learning and/or social context. There will also be evidence of measurable outcomes and specific reference made to pre- and post-measures which clarify the outstanding nature of the individual’s progress towards, and actual, achievement.
