Replacing the Beyond the UK award, the International Award continues to recognise and applaud those students, be it individuals, teams or schools, whose efforts and contribution has extended beyond the geographical boundaries of the UK.

The winner of this category will have demonstrated, above all others, a genuine and measurable contribution internationally. This award can be given to an individual, a team or a school. For teams and schools, they may consist of any number of students, have worked together over any period of time, though need not have been comprised of the same members for its entirety. There will be clear examples provided of the nature and impact of this contribution and the ways in which the individual/team/school identified, justified and developed their role/s. Evidence will also be provided regarding the unique nature of the project or work undertaken internationally alongside relevant or appropriate feedback from individuals or groups on the receiving end of such a contribution.
