- “In 18 months since my son has been at the school, I cannot believe the change in him. I am so proud of what he has achieved and I’m very grateful to the school for all their hard work”.
- “I would like to thank you for all the hard work and professionalism you have shown towards my son during his stay at your school. We know without this and the teamwork shown by all the staff he would not have moved on. You have helped develop a very angry and confused boy into a confident and happy young man. We will certainly keep in contact regards his progress and it is comforting to know help and advice is only a phone call away. Many thanks”.
- “My son has expressed a real interest in school in the creative sphere, with particular talents in both art and music. School is helping him to explore a broader, more individualised Key Stage 4 package, which could include some work experience and a taster of college life. He loves art and music; we would love to see him go to college and expand on what he is good at. Also I would like to thank the school for all the support they have given us”.
- “I want to take this time out to say thank you so much for looking after and guiding my son through the last five years of schooling. I would also like to thank all your staff including teachers, keyworkers, house helpers, cleaners, kitchen staff, office staff and anyone else that touched my son’s life whilst in your care at the school. You are remarkable people and for the last five years have all been like family to our son. Without you and your school I don’t know where or what direction he would have gone. Your school is fantastic in my eyes and in his eyes also. I know he will never forget you all and I know I will not. Thanks again to you all for giving my son a chance in life, it’s up to him now and I hope and wish you all the best. You have all done a fantastic job with my son”.
- “My son seems to think more now than just being impulsive – he listens more to people. He seems to have made a great deal of progress since joining the school. I put this down to the dedication of all the staff and thank them for helping my son to gain some more independence than he had before”.
- “I am sorry for the way my son behaved at school last week and I am sorry about the way he spoke to your staff. I did ask him to write a letter to say he was sorry but he walked away. Thank you also for sending a teacher out to work with him, I know you need all the help at school. Maybe next term he will be better at least I hope he will be; he’s got 6 weeks to think about it anyway. Also can you thank his teacher for the time also spent with my son and for helping him through the hardest days. I know he is a problem at times to work with but he’s getting older now and should show some respect for the people that try the best to help him. Please tell his teacher I am sorry for his outbursts at times, I know his teacher has worked hard to help and also other members of staff. Once again, thank you and have a nice holiday. I know I will try to. Let’s hope next term is better for my son. Thank you all”.
- “We feel our grandson is making progress, but his mood swings make it difficult to assess, however his school reports may show more accurately his progress. His behaviour in school is not always good but that is his fault, not the schools, as he often takes little notice of authority, until he settles down. As grandparents we are both very happy with the staff at the school and know that they all give our grandson as much help and assistance that they can. We feel he is very lucky to have such caring (genuine) staff around him”.
